“Jingle Bell, Jingle BAM!” celebrates the season at Disney’s Hollywood Studios

With state-of-the-art projections, special effects, fireworks and more an all-new nighttime spectacular, “Jingle Bell, Jingle BAM!,” premieres at Disney’s Hollywood Studios Nov. 14, sending beloved Disney animated characters on a spirited yuletide adventure to get Santa back to the North Pole in time for Christmas Eve.

state-of-the-art projections, special effects, fireworks and more an all-new nighttime spectacular, “Jingle Bell, Jingle BAM!,” premieres at Disney’s Hollywood Studios

The façade of the Chinese Theater comes alive with the merriment, music and sparkle of the Walt Disney World Resort 2016 holiday season. On, above and around the theater are state-of-the-art projections, special effects, fireworks and even snow. Adding to the immersive experience is a new musical score featuring familiar holiday tunes with an original twist. It’s a holiday show that couldn’t be more merry and bright.

It’s also a cranberry-red situation for elves Wayne and Lanny from ABC/Walt Disney Animation Studios’ animated special “Prep & Landing,” as the duo leads a top-notch team on a search-and-rescue mission for Santa.

Snowy fun and holiday cheer set to the twinkling tunes of the season bring together holiday moments from Disney films including “Mickey’s Christmas Carol,” “Beauty and the Beast,” “Pluto’s Christmas Tree,” “Bambi,” – even a journey into Tim Burton’s “The Nightmare Before Christmas” – all building to a festive finale that’s “So tinsel!”

A special message from Santa Claus will cap off this unforgettable spectacular for the whole family.

“Jingle Bell, Jingle BAM!” will run from Nov. 14 to Dec. 31, adding a sparkling finale to any holiday visit to Disney’s Hollywood Studios.

Dessert Parties Make the Holidays Even Sweeter
More holiday cheer is in store for guests who book a new dessert party that will be offered nightly during the show’s run. The Jingle Bell, Jingle BAM! Holiday Party features holiday inspired snacks, decadent desserts and specialty beverages in the courtyard of the Chinese Theater.

Beginning one hour before each performance of Jingle Bell, Jingle BAM!, the party is $69 for adults, and $39 for children, including all taxes and gratuities.

More Holiday Cheer at Disney’s Hollywood Studios
During the holiday season, “Tinsel Town” takes on a completely different kind of meaning at this theme park that celebrates the magic of movies and television. A giant Christmas tree towers over the main entrance, holiday displays capture the imagination, and colorful garlands and lights sparkle.

In the spirit of bygone days and Old St. Nick visits to great department stores across the country, guests can share their wish list with him at the Once Upon a Time shop, a vintage setting along Sunset Boulevard.

Holiday Gift Guide: For Pets

Hi guys and gals, Einstein here! I decided to take over Deb’s holiday guide today to share with you 10 pawsitively purrrfect gifts that your pets will want to get their paws (and fins) on this holiday.

Einstein's 10 Pawsitively Purrfect Howliday Gift Guide

I love spending time with my family, and I always get super excited about my presents, especially the wrapping paper. Ripping it apart.. I mean unwrapping is so much fun for me. Almost as much fun as finding squeakers.
No wrapping today though. Just click on a picture or link and it will take you right to the review post and giveaway or a link where you can buy the gift for your furry or finned friend.

Prices are correct at time of publishing this post. Some products have Amazon Affiliate links included. Clicking and buying on those links helps keep this blog going (and me in bones) but does not affect the price you would pay.

Lots more gifts, reviews, coupons and giveaways are coming daily, so check back often!

Disney Season: Holidays 2013

Disney elves blend yuletide traditions and Christmas cheer to create a wintry wonderland ready for holiday revelers at Walt Disney World Resort and Disney Cruise Line. Highlights:
Magic Kingdom
Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party will have magical nights from November-December. For a quarter century, Walt Disney World Resort guests have been mesmerized by this must-see event, a grandly festive tradition immersing families in the holiday spirit.

Beginning at 7 p.m. (after regular park hours), guests with special event tickets to Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party can enjoy all the holiday splendor with lively stage shows, spectacular fireworks, a unique holiday parade and favorite holiday traditions including complimentary cookies and hot cocoa, and snow flurries on Main Street, U.S.A. Guests can enjoy new experiences and attractions at New Fantasyland.
NOTE: this is a hard ticket special event after regular park hours; purchasing tickets in advance is highly recommended.

Entertainment, Fireworks and More: Santa’s elves have transformed the Magic Kingdom into a winter wonderland with festive wreaths, bows, garland, sparkling lights, parades and towering Christmas trees. The fun includes the Holiday Wishes: Celebrate the Spirit of the Season nighttime fireworks spectacular, plus live entertainment with Disney characters all dressed up for the holidays.

Holiday Shopping in Walt Disney World

Shopping for Christmas gifts in Walt Disney World is a year round activity for me. I enjoy slipping away from the group for some alone time to browse the shops or strolling and window shopping with the family, especially in The World Showcase at Christmastime.

The decorations are beautiful with garlands, bows and lights on just about everything. The shop windows are decorated for the season too with seasonal themes and merchandise.
Perfect gifts can be found everywhere, like these "Precious Moments" Disney Princess dolls by Linda Rick (when I was there she was signing them) at Epcot in the American Pavilion for $40 each. Aren't they sweet?
Focused on the Magic Linda Rick Dolls
For the adults on the list, German Gluhwein? I just loved the decorative bottles

One of my favorite places to shop is in the German Pavilion. The quaint little shops are a great place to browse with a stop in Karamell-Kuche, of course. The Der Teddybar shop offers Steiff bears, toy soldiers and knights, candies and German crafted dolls. I just loved this bear on the tree, not one of the famous Steiff bears. They are up high on a shelf.Do you have a Christmas Pickle on your tree? The Christmas shop, Die Weihnachts Ecke is where I found my Christmas pickle. Tradition has it that the pickle ornaments in Germany are the last ornaments parents put on the tree on Christmas Eve. The bury it deep in the tree to hide it. In the morning the lucky child who finds the pickle receives an extra gift from St. Nicholas.

Merry Musical Christmas from our family

Today I'm sending out my Christmas musical message and since I haven't sent you a card, please consider this your very own Christmas video card;)

Just a little background on the video. Our family loves all kinds of music! Each Christmas for years our family has gotten together to carole and play music of the season. From young to old, everyone participates in their own way.
In this video are a few of my family favorites from our collection. My MIL is the soloist (with a little help from me) on "O' Holy Night". My husband, Paul is the male vocalist on the "Christmas Song". He's also the musician and recording artist. His talents are amazing and we've gotta love multi-tracking for letting him put it all together:)
You may recognize the holiday pictures from the Disney Candlelight Processional, Holiday Illuminations, Osborne Lights and holiday scenes in Disney World.
I hope you enjoy our very merry musical Christmas.
