#Disney (Almost) Wordless Wednesday
Hey there Disney photography fans. Welcome to The Disney Wordless Wednesday Blog Hop here at Focused on the Magic where each week we get together to share our #DisneySide vacation photos.
It's so good to be back! I have missed all of you so very much. As many of you know I have been battling Nasopharyngeal cancer since it was discovered last May. I am happy to report that I am finished with my radiation and chemo treatments and am just waiting for a PET scan sometime this month that will confirm I am cancer free. The struggle isn't completely over as I still have side effects from the treatment to deal with but each day I feel better and stronger.
Huge thanks and hugs to my DF Sean of Disney Day by Day for jumping in and keeping the WW Hop going each week. You are my hero!
Thanks to all of my Disney Friends for sending me prayers, pixie dust, happy mail and inspirational messages. Your support and love meant so much to me and helped me stay focused on the magic during a not so magical time.
Today is the start of the bloom filled Epcot Flower and Garden Festival in Walt Disney World which runs from March 2 till May 30, 2016.
" Discover an event bursting with fresh, farm-to-table flavors, brilliant blooms, interactive playgrounds and rocking entertainment. "

This week's theme is "Your March Calendar Shot". If you were to design a calendar which photo would you choose for the cover?
Now it's time to link up your #DisneySide photos and hop with us? We have a theme each week that you can follow along with if you'd like and your links can be from your blog, Instagram, Flickr, Twitter, Tumblr or SmugMug. You get the idea.

This week's theme is Disney Couture.
We see uniquely designed and themed fashions on Cast Members everywhere in the parks. I chose to share pictures of the Citizens of Hollywood (Streetmosphere) at Disney's Hollywood Studios. They always have the most authentic and detailed looking costumes from a time when fashion was flamboyant and fun. Each dress is a work of art and tailored to the actresses onstage personality making it a fashion statement.

Disney Wordless Wednesday Blog Hop ~ Retro
Fasten your seat belts! This week we are entering the Way Back Machine and going Retro.
Last May during the Flower and Garden Festival The Odyssey building in Epcot was open to Annual Passholders to change their paper passes to electronic passes for the start of the new pass system.
While relaxing in the air conditioning and enjoying a beverage I took the opportunity to browse and snapping a few pictures of a display of memorabilia that was set up in the lobby.
Fascinating stuff that took me right back to our first trips to Disney World.
Do you have a favorite retro experience?

Disney Wordless Wednesday Blog Hop ~ April
The theme this week is:Your April Calendar Shot.
Happy April! To celebrate the 2014 Epcot International Flower & Garden Festival which happens to be going on right now at Epcot and the beautiful month of April, I'm sharing one of my all time favorite photos and one I just entered into a contest.
Shameless plug, I would love it if you gave it a vote http://woobox.com/sbotso/vote/for/2264957
There's even a Hidden mickey in the clouds making it even more magical for me. Can you see it or is it just my imagination? It's a side shot of Steamboat Willie.
I try to take the same picture every year by standing in the same spot and waiting for the monorail to come around. People walk by and some people have asked me what I'm doing.
I guess they've never seen a Disney photography nerd in action.(▰˘◡˘▰)

Disney Wordless Wednesday Blog Hop: Epcot's Flower and Garden Festival
The theme this week is: Flowers and Gardens
I chose pictures from last years Flower and Garden festival to share today. I can't wait to see the 2014 Epcot International Flower & Garden Festival on my next trip. The shots pictured here were taken in the Butterfly House and around the World Showcase lagoon. I try to capture the same picture every year as the flower bed displays change with the theme each year.
Inside Tinker Bell's Butterfly House you can see a variety of not only butterflies but topiaries. I really enjoyed seeing a butterfly land on Terence, the dust-keeper fairy. He's in charge of making sure everyone has their pixie dust and he's also Tink's best friend. How do I know that? I read the sign. You can learn a lot at the festival;)
