It's Photo Flashback Friday!
Time to once again dig through our old Disney pictures for a photo flashback. Today's picture is from a magical cruise aboard The Magic a long time ago, possibly 1999 or 2000. It was taken after dinner at The Animator's Palate. We had spent the day touring Nassau on motorbikes. I found it in a box in the basement separated from the negative and photo album. This is why I love Flashback Friday! It gets me to scan, file and scrap my old pictures. I don't know why DS#1, Stig isn't in the picture, my guess is he's taking it.

Note the walls and pictures on the wall are in black and white. Throughout the evening the wall art change colors and the screens become animated. 

Flashback Friday ~ A Contemporary Look at the 90's

It's time for Flashback Friday! Time for me to focus on my favorite Disney memories from the past. This week I'm sharing more old photos and ephemera from the early 90's in Walt Disney World. 

 The flower cart bench was a favorite Kodak picture spot for us in The Magic Kingdom. Tucked away just off Main Street, it was the perfect spot to gather the family for our annual picture. This was long before PhotoPass so you would have to do the "camera swap" with guests. You can see him in the shadow. I was using Kodachrome Gold 100 film one of the proud sponsors in Walt Disney World at the time.

The light in the tower.....

I enjoy staying late into the night at The Magic Kingdom. On one of those nights I was walking behind the castle when I looked up and saw the light on in the tower. 

Wouldn't it be magical to spend a night in the suite?

Welcome to Flashback Friday! Whenever we can we enter the Wayback Machine to another magical time and place in our Disney past. The Wayback Machine is an Internet archive of history.

It's amazing what I find by simply entering the url of the website I'd like to explore. The Wayback Machine stores everything! Here's an example of Paul's (DH) website The Hall of Forgotten Presidents from the '90s. 

This week we discovered (unearthed) some new old photos to share with you from The Diamond Horseshoe Jamboree. So, sit back relax and let's begin our journey back in time to 1991 in The Magic Kingdom at The Diamond Horseshoe Jamboree. Here DS is trying to read the sign in front but can't quite make out what it says. Dad is helping with some of the words....
