Disney Frozen Limited Edition Makeup Collection

It's Spring and a perfect time to channel the beauty of snow and ice with the limited edition cosmetics line inspired by the magical and elegant Elsa from Disney’s Frozen!

Hello my dear Disney friends! The new E.L.F. (Eyes Lips Face) Disney Frozen Elsa Makeup Collection has arrived at Walgreens!

I couldn't wait to give it a try. I love makeup even though I am rather conservative in my choice of colors and application. This collection gave me an opportunity to step out of my comfort zone and "let it go".

We all know that makeup doesn't come cheap and purchasing products individually can really add up. E.L.F. offers quality cosmetics at a reasonable price. This set is fully color coordinated so that anyone can create the Elsa look. It's a great series for a teenager, Disney Bounding or a more mature makeup wearer who wants to bring out her inner princess.

Maybe it's because we celebrated my sisters birthday this week and I am still feeling the magic of sisterly love but I couldn't resist the latest additions to the Disney Royal family, Princess Anna and Queen Elsa from Frozen.

Guests can meet Anna & Elsa in the Princess Fairytale Hall in the Magic Kingdom at Disney World. FASTPASS+ reservations are highly recommend. If you don't have a FASTPASS+ reservation but still want to see them, check out the Disney Festival of Fantasy Parade in the Magic Kingdom.

“Frozen Summer Fun Live!” will bring to life the world of royal sisters Anna and Elsa

Starting today, Disney’s Hollywood Studios will be celebrating “Frozen,” the hit animated feature film from Disney, with a daily character procession, sing-alongs with Anna and Elsa, fireworks, a polar playground, ice skating rink, ice carving demonstrations and a nightly party featuring a live band, all themed to the worldwide phenomenon.

From July 5-Sept. 1, 2014, “Frozen Summer Fun Live!” will bring to life the world of royal sisters Anna and Elsa and their fairy tale kingdom of Arendelle. Most activities are included in theme park admission.

A “Frozen” Summer at Disney’s Hollywood Studios

Guests at Walt Disney World will be chilling out this summer when “Frozen Summer Fun: Live at Disney’s Hollywood Studios” kicks off on July 5 - September 1, 2014.

The festivities will include “Anna and Elsa’s Royal Welcome” every morning at 11 a.m.; their procession—complete with horse-drawn sleigh and Kristoff!—will take them down Hollywood Boulevard, ending at the Sorcerer’s Hat in front of The Great Movie Ride.

“For the First Time in Forever: A Frozen Sing-Along Celebration” features a fun, comedic retelling of Anna and Elsa’s story, complete with sing-along moments from the film’s soundtrack. “Wandering Oaken’s Trading Post & Frozen Funland” features a “big summer blowout” inside Soundstage One, with plenty of Frozen merchandise, along with hot cocoa and sweet treats available for purchase.

The Frozen Funland provides ice-skating demonstrations, ice carving displays, and other kid-friendly wintertime activities. Every evening, the “Coolest Summer Ever” Dance Party kicks off at 5:30 p.m. in front of the Sorcerer’s Hat with a DJ, live band, and more! The night ends with a Frozen Fireworks Spectacular, complete with special projections of snow and ice images as well as a special appearance from Elsa.

Sing Into Spring Giveaway from Walt Disney Records

Spring is in the air finally here in NJ. The temps are warming up finally. A welcome sign for me are my spring bulbs which have just broken ground. Soon we'll be outside enjoying the beautiful weather planting the vegetable garden and taking road trips.

For us it means we'll be listening to our music and lots of it.I have been listening to Disney music since I was a child and with my sons as they grew. We have quite a collection of CDs.

I like to listen to my Disney tunes when I walk or exercise. They're great for getting me to keep up a fast pace. We listen to them in the car and sing along which makes any trip that much more fun.

Our #DisneySide Party - Frozen Fun for all ages!

A few weeks ago I mentioned that we had been selected to host a #DisneySide @ Home Celebration and I shared with you our plans for the party. We held our party March 1st and it was fun! We combined the Mickey and Friends themed decorations that were provided with a Frozen themed look. We had fun shopping for the party supplies and preparing the food was a family affair.
This winter has been brutal here in NJ with snowstorm after snowstorm right up until the day of our party. The forecast was for 12-14 inches of snow. March sure was coming in like a lion! Needless to say we have had enough of winter! Our theme was "Let it Go! Let Go of Winter!" "Welcome Spring!".

Our party was a mixed group of adult couples and singles and two young children. This would be our time to share our Disney side with our friends and relatives. Many of whom we hadn't seen all winter.

Over the past month I had been gathering pins from blogs, sites like Babble and Spoonful onto my #DisneySide Celebration Pinterest board. The ideas I got were so cool and creative. I have to thank all the party planners who went before me with their parties. You truly were a fountain of inspiration in my plans. I was so excited to finally show my Disney Side!

Kristen Bell (voice of Anna), Idina Menzel (voice of Elsa), Josh Gad (voice of Olaf) and Santino Fontana (voice of Hans) took the stage, accompanied by a live orchestra conducted by David Metzger, to perform songs from the Oscar®-nominated, Golden Globe®-winning film, including the Oscar-nominated “Let It Go.”

Walt Disney Studios has unveiled the first images from the Frozen-inspired suite at Quebec City’s famed Hôtel de Glace, in celebration of Disney’s “FROZEN” Blu-ray & Digital HD release.

Created entirely out of sculpted ice and snow and supervised by the film’s art director Michael Giaimo, the “Frozen Suite” is modeled after Anna & Elsa’s bedrooms.

Disney Frozen Hidden Gems - Did you spot them?

So, now that you've had a chance to see Frozen more than once, have a look at some of the hidden gems that were very cleverly placed in the movie.

Did you see any of them? Peter spotted Anna going for the sweets from Wreck-It Ralph during the first showing. It took me till our second viewing to see them.

WELCOME TO ARENDELLE – Elsa’s coronation draws guests from far-away lands—and movies. From “Tangled,” Eugene Fitzherbert aka Flynn Rider and Rapunzel even made the guest list.

Disney Frozen Hidden Gems

SWEET REPEAT – Anna’s affinity for chocolate summons sweet treats all the way from the land of Sugar Rush in “Wreck-It Ralph.”

IT’S A MOUSE! – Disney’s famous icon makes the quickest of cameos in “Frozen.” A small Mickey Mouse plush sits on one of the lower shelves in Wandering Oaken's Trading Post and Sauna.

REPURPOSED PAINTING – Artist Lisa Keene’s painting—completed during the development phase of “Tangled” and based on “The Swing” by Jean-Honoré Fragonard—made such an impression on “Frozen” filmmakers, it became part of Anna’s signature song, “For the First Time in Forever,” when she leaps into the air and mimics the painting’s pose.

Just in time for the holiday season and the release of the highly-anticipated Walt Disney Animation Studios film, Frozen, Disney Consumer Products has launched a new product collection of role-play items, plush stuffed animals, dolls, apparel, home décor, books and more that capture the family, adventure and fun from the movie at mass retailers nationwide, Disney Store and DisneyStore.com.

Disney's Frozen chronicles the epic quest of fearless optimist Anna as she teams up with rugged mountain man Kristoff and his loyal reindeer Sven to find her sister Elsa, whose icy powers have trapped the kingdom of Arendelle in eternal winter.
