Disney's eternal sweethearts, Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse, are celebrating Valentine's Day with a lovable collection of fun fashion, accessories, and yummy sweet treats.
Mickey and Minnie "So Sweet" Collection
Mickey and Minnie "So Sweet" Collection - Available at Target. SRP: $3.99 - $14.99

Your loved ones will fall head over heels for the new Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse plush, chocolate-filled mugs, chocolate covered pretzels and more from the "So Sweet" collection available at Target. The packaging features vintage artwork from a new episode of Disney's Emmy and Annie Award-winning "Mickey Mouse" cartoon shorts titled "Third Wheel." Premiering on Disney Channel on Friday, February 14 (7:55 p.m. ET/PT), the hilarious short finds Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse trying to have a romantic date as the classically clueless Goofy continuously interrupts.

Third Wheel

It’s the perfect setting: a cozy table for two in an elegant restaurant. Soft music is playing; the mood is dreamy, and romance is in the air for Mickey and Minnie… and GOOFY? Gawrsh! Yup, sometimes even good pals can have really bad timing, and in outrageously hilarious fashion, classically clueless Goofy is determined to crash this party. Will his antics turn Mickey and Minnie’s big date into a not-so-bella notte?

Find out on February 14 (7:55 p.m.ET/PT) on Disney Channel.

 More Saturday Shorts

Our Saturday Shorts are back this week with the latest featurette from the Delivery Man.

DreamWorks Pictures’“Delivery Man” stars Vince Vaughn as affable underachiever David Wozniak, whose anonymous donations to a fertility clinic 20 years earlier resulted in 533 children. David must now embark on a journey that leads him to discover not only his true self but also the father that he could become.

Saturday Shorts ~ All New #Disney "Mickey Mouse" Cartoon Shorts for iPhone and iPad

Continuing along in our Saturday Shorts Series we're sharing not only a fun short but a Mickey media alert (see below) that is great news for "Mickey Mouse" cartoon lovers.

A new generation of Mickey Mouse cartoons for viewers of all ages has been launched via the new FREE Mickey Video App for iOS , the Disney Channel and Disney.com. I have the app and will be doing a full review but for now all I can say is, This is free!

Each of the new cartoons features Mickey in a different location including Santa Monica, New York, Paris, Beijing, Tokyo, Venice and the Alps, facing a fun dilemma similar to the cartoons gags of the 50's. Mickey is joined by his pals, Minnie Mouse, Donald Duck, Daisy Duck, Goofy and Pluto.

The first four episodes, including “Croissant de Triomphe” set in Paris and “No Service” set in Santa Monica are live now. My favorite is the New York Weenie -- Mickey chases an illusive hot dog through New York's Central Park, one of my favorite places. Rated: TV-G --

Saturday Shorts: One More Day Fantasy

Our Saturday Shorts are back this week with a few short videos that highlight this weeks most exciting Disney events, "One More Day" and the christening of The Fantasy, Disney Cruise Lines newest ship.

In celebration of Leap Day, Disney park guests "took the leap and didn't sleep" at Disneyland and Disney World during the "One More Day" fete!
Here's a neat video from Disney Parks that I just had to share.

Saturday Shorts ~ Walt Disney World turns a Fabulous 40!

Saturday Shorts today will be a few video clips to honor and celebrate the 40th Anniversary of Walt Disney World. From the beginning Walt Disney's enthusiasm for the "The Florida Project" was contagious as you can see from this clip aired on TV.

Saturday Shorts ~ Donald Duck's 61st Birthday Parade

Each week we focus on a short video or two or three relating to an event that occurred during the week. Well, this week I celebrated a birthday! The past three years I've celebrated my birthday in Walt Disney World partying to all hours in the Magic Kingdom. Not this year though. I was back home here in NJ. Fortunately, I was surrounded (sounds like a roundup) by my loving family and friends. In honor of my birthday here is a little video of Donald Duck's 61st Birthday Parade in Disneyland.
I love how Winnie The Pooh looks. He's aged well:)

Donald celebrates with his nephews in their own unique way in the next cartoon!

Characters Can Move!

Today we're welcoming back guest blogger and DS, Peter. We can always count on Peter to find something interesting to share with us on Saturday Shorts.
Peter: Thanks for having me back! I found two cool clips. The first one is Mickey putting on some dance moves that will blow you away. I'm calling the second one "Goofy The JaMMinator". Shoutout and thanks to the Disney Parks Blog for the vids

Saturday Shorts~ GNOMEO & JULIET

This week we are focusing on GNOMEO & JULIET (2011) the little garden gnome romantic comedy film based...sort of based on William Shakespeare's play Romeo and Juliet. The film is directed by Kelly Asbury with main character voice actors James McAvoy and Emily Blunt.

There wasn't much Disney board buzz about it when this came out in theaters or at least I didn't see a lot of it.

This little movie got me the minute I heard that the music was from Sir Elton John. I knew then I'd put it on my must-see list.  When a movie comes out on DVD that I know "the boys" will pass on for reasons a mother will never understand,  I put a request in with our local library. We have Netflix, Redbox and had a Blockbuster that we use but I feel we should support our local libraries whenever we can. Besides, I love going to the library and picking up a good read at the same time:) So I dashed down to the library when my request for Gnomeo & Juliet came in.
As I often do I watched it from the discomfort of my treadmill. I get some exercise and the time goes by quickly..if the movie is good. This was the perfect treadmilling movie running 84 minutes and the "G" entertainment value was perfect too. I loved that an adult could appreciate some of the double entendres while still keeping with the storyline for children. I'm not going to review it fully here. I'll just say you can't go wrong with this DVD. It's not one of the best "G" movies I can think of but you will be entertained. There were plenty of laughs (run, run, run) and upbeat music (skip, skip). There were lovely little gnome moments too (walking, walking). All in all the story was a wonderful surprise. I think my favorite character was Lady Blueberry voiced by Maggie Smith and my favorite song was “Don’t Go Breaking My Heart” (a duet with Kiki Dee). There were plenty of terrific songs throughout.

As promised a little trailer short:

If you just love the music after seeing the movie. Check out the soundtrack:

Saturday Shorts ~ Mission Space

Today we're focusing once again on space. From the real life adventures aboard the NASA space shuttle, STS-135 to a ride on Epcot's Mission Space

Our first clip is Sir Paul McCartney waking the crew of the space shuttle. I know celebrities do it all the time and it's prerecorded but to me it's still very exciting. It's also great to see Sir Paul do what he does best!

Saturday Shorts~Godspeed Atlantis

Godspeed Atlantis STS-135!! Thank you, NASA Space Shuttle Program for declaring in February 2011, one more mission, despite a dire funding situation. Yesterday, we watched sadly as Atlantis launched for the very last time from Kennedy Space Center in Florida. For today's Saturday Shorts I've selected a video of yesterday's sentimental last voyage.

Mad Hatter Day + Alice In Wonderland, 1951 Original Footage

Today we're focused on Alice in Wonderland (1951) and the Mad Hatter because today's date is 10/6. Have you ever noticed the numbers in the Mad Hatters Hat? Yup, 10/6!

Walt Disney had a long-standing affection for Alice in Wonderland. Before making Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs (1937) he had plans to make Alice in Wonderland his first feature-length film.

In this compilation we get a rare behind the scenes look at the talented actors Ed Wynn (Mad Hatter), Kathryn Beaumont (Alice) and Jerry Colonna (March Hare) in action.
