Spooktacular Halloween Treats at Disney Parks

It's time for goblins and ghosts and goodies galore! Let's have a look at some of my favorite spooktacular goodies that can be found in the Disney Parks for Halloween.

The Main Street Confectionery in The Magic Kingdom had us queued up to treat ourselves to these festive Pumpkin and Candy Corn Cookies, Rice Krispie Mickey Heads and Ghostly Cupcakes during Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party last year. They went quickly too. We stopped back later in the evening and they were gobbled up.

The basket full of Minnie Witch Hats and Pumpkin Cookies were in Animal Kingdom as were the Spiderweb lollipops. Mickey Pumpkin Treat or Treat Popcorn buckets were everywhere hanging on food carts and displayed in shops. They make a great souvenir and come in handy while collecting candy during #MNSSHP too.

What's your favorite Halloween treat?

Almost Wordless Wednesday ~ Disney Storytelling

Wordless Wednesday Blog Hop hosted by Focused on the Magic.com
Welcome to The Disney Wordless Wednesday Blog Hop here at Focused on the Magic.com where each week Disney Bloggers gather to blog hop, link up and share their Disney Wordless Wednesday or Almost Wordless Wednesday Disney related picture posts.

It's a fun blog hop for sharing your Disney memories and pictures. There's a theme each week that you can follow if you wish. Facebook pictures, Twitter, Tumblr, RedditFlickr or video posts are all welcome. You can even email your pictures and I will be happy to add them to this page.

The theme for this week's Disney Wordless Wednesday Blog Hop, 10/17/12 is

"Disney Storytelling"

The incredible talents of Disney Storytelling can be found in Disney books, movies and throughout the Disney parks. When concepts are first developed the Imagineers start with the storyline and build from there in multi layers taking us on a journey. Not all the stories are complex or require stage shows.  While I was strolling through Animal Kingdom recently I couldn't help but look up and notice this fabulously creative sign for The Festival of the Lion King Show. Not only does it tell a funny story but it's functional too as a times guide.

I just love seeing the stories in the parks from the shows to the signs almost as much as I do reading them at home or watching them in the movies.

Time to hop...

Saturday Shorts ~ Donald Duck's 61st Birthday Parade

Each week we focus on a short video or two or three relating to an event that occurred during the week. Well, this week I celebrated a birthday! The past three years I've celebrated my birthday in Walt Disney World partying to all hours in the Magic Kingdom. Not this year though. I was back home here in NJ. Fortunately, I was surrounded (sounds like a roundup) by my loving family and friends. In honor of my birthday here is a little video of Donald Duck's 61st Birthday Parade in Disneyland.
I love how Winnie The Pooh looks. He's aged well:)

Donald celebrates with his nephews in their own unique way in the next cartoon!
