Almost Wordless Wednesday ~ Happy 4th of July

Happy 4th of July and welcome to The Disney Wordless Wednesday Blog Hop here at Focused on the Magic.com where each week we share our Disney Wordless Wednesday or Almost Wordless Wednesday Disney related picture posts.
You can link up a Facebook picture, Twitter, Tumblr, Reddit, Flickr, video post or your own blog post. The rules are few and linking up is simple. Hop along over to The Disney Wordless Wednesday 411 for all the details.

This week's theme is Your July Calendar Shot.
My calendar shot for the month is one I took during The Hall of Presidents performance. I always enjoy this attraction and when this part came on the screen I just had to take a snap. I know a lot of people take the time to catch a few zzz's and enjoy the air conditioning. Not me, I enjoy the air conditioning but I truly enjoy American history and learning about our countries rich heritage. This scene during the show is particularly moving while Lincoln's face fades in appearing briefly in the background. I hope you enjoy it!

Since we're celebrating the 4th today, I thought it would be fun to share another possible calendar shot of the Wishes fireworks display in the Magic Kingdom. I can never pick just one.

This banner was made from a great freebie kit at www.Scrap Orchard.com. It was easy to put together with a little text and a few pictures. Check them out when you get a chance. Not now though it's time to hop...

  1. WOW!  What a perfect shot with the colors and Lincoln's face in the background.  Beautiful picture as always.  I saw this show many years ago and enjoyed it too.  I did see quite a few people taking naps there =)

  3. What great shots and editing.   I really enjoy the show, but I have to admit it is a great spot to grab some AC on a Hot July day.

  12. As much as I actually enjoy the Hall of Presidents show, I will confess to sitting through 7 or 8 performances in a row on Leap Day to catch a few ZZZZ's. If they'd just get rid of that dang cannon shot half way through it would be absolutely perfect.
PS. In the Disneyland version, there are plugs available if you sit in the back row, making for the perfect cool down, nod off, and recharge your phone or camera, trifecta.
