Today's Food Favorite post and the recipe is inspired by Dumbo the Flying Elephant. Recently I was delighted to receive a contest prize from Sean at Disney Day by Day of an adorable plush Dumbo. There he is pictured above. Isn't he sweet?
Dumbo reminded me of the popcorn at Maurice's Amazing Popping Machine in New Fantasyland. You can get popcorn just about anywhere in Walt Disney World but not in Dumbo souvenir buckets from this magically themed popping machine cart.
I really wanted to taste the popcorn but we were in a bit of a rush and thought it might spoil our appetites so we deferred for another day which never happened. Silly decision and lesson learned. Just like Dumbo I needed a Timothy in my hat that day. Never put off Disney snacks for later. Eat now or forever hold your peace or peas as my son used to say.
