Almost Wordless Wednesday ~ Foodie Fare at The Liberty Tree Tavern

Welcome to the latest edition of the The Disney Wordless Wednesday Blog Hop here at Focused on the Magic.com where each week Disney Bloggers gather to blog hop, link up and share their Disney Wordless Wednesday or Almost Wordless Wednesday Disney related picture posts.

It's a fun blog hop for sharing your Disney memories and pictures. There's a theme each week that you can follow if you wish. Facebook pictures, Twitter, Tumblr, Reddit, Flickr or video posts are all welcome. You can even email your pictures and I will be happy to add them to this page. Email your picture to Deb at focusedonthemagic@gmail.com. I'll make every effort to get them posted right away.

The theme for this week's Disney Wordless Wednesday Blog Hop, 9/19/12 is

  Disney Food

Epcot's Food & Wine Festival starts September 28th and I am so looking forward to tasting our way around the World Showcase again this year. In addition to sampling the Food & Wine Festival fare we have a few dining reservations to look forward to. One of my favorite places to have lunch is The Liberty Tree Tavern in the Magic Kingdom. This is a picture of my go-to drink in Disney, pomegranate lemonade with a touch of ice tea. The mugs make great souvenirs too:)
For dessert Peter was treated to the Ooey Gooey Toffee Cake -- vanilla cake with a gooey toffee filling and caramel sauce.

Lunch Menu is here : allears.net/menu/men_lttl.htm

I was treated to this birthday cupcake and a rousing chorus of Happy Birthday
from our favorite server Craig & friends:D

Time to link up...

For the next two Wednesdays (9/26 & 10/3) I will be in my favorite Laughing Place, Disney World! I'm going to make every effort to ensure that our Wordless Wednesday Blog Hop runs smoothly.
I'll be visiting every post as usual and I'll try to leave comments on your blogs but my iphone doesn't let me leave Captha codes. I'm sure I'm doing something wrong and I'll work on figuring it out. If you don't hear from me it's not that I don't want to leave a message, I can't.

Please keep in mind you don't have to post along with the theme, but your picture post does have to be Disney related. This is a Disney WW Blog Hop after all!

Please read:
  • No linky posts allowed (it would take away from the other bloggers linked up here) and a direct URL to the post.
  • Please leave a comment below after you link up and tell me what you think of the theme, my picture and whatever else is on your mind this week! I love to read your comments!
  • Would you like to link up but you are baffled by this blog hop thing? Hop on over to The Disney Wordless Wednesday 411 page for more info than you probably want to know.

I've never had pomegranate lemonade - it sounds delicious!! I'll definitely be trying that the next time I need a refreshing drink at Disney!

  2. Liberty Tree is one of my favorites too, although I've never had the pomengranate lemonade - it sounds delicious! Will definitely have to try it next time.

Have a great trip - can't wait to hear all about your F&W fun!

My Favorite time of the week!

  4. The Mickey sprinkles on the Ooey Gooey Toffee Cake are awesome! Although it seems somewhat like overkill as I would have ordered three of them based on the name alone. Actually I see the sprinkles are everywhere, including all over the table. They are edible right?

  5. The drink sounds delicious. We were going to try lunch there on the trip we had to cancel. One day we will attempt it again. Thank you for the fun each week :)

My favorite Disney "foods" are desserts too! (Well except for some great fish & chips at Rose & Crown with a lovely Bass Ale). I especially love to indulge in France. :)
