Liven up your fish tank with PetSmart Disney Ornaments {Review} #Giveaway

Our tank really needed a livening up and introducing new ornaments was just what the two big fish, "Kenny" the Kenyi African Cichlid and and "Big Red" the Red Devil needed. They enjoy swimming around the rocks and the Disney ornaments would give them a new fun place to hang out. I love watching the fish. It's so relaxing.

Kenny, the bright yellow male Kenyi Cichlid is an aggressive territorial Cichlid that comes from the rocky shores of Lake Malawi in Africa. They should only grow to 1- 1 1/2 inches but as you can see Kenny is a big boy.Big Red, a Red Devil Central American Cichlid is energetic and aggressive. He likes to dominate the other fish but adds quite a bit of action to the aquarium. He can grow up to 12 inches.

I introduced each ornament slowly and carefully. The first step in introducing new ornaments to the tank is to wash them with water. Never use soap.

Once washed I secured a line around each one to lower them into the water. My office fish tank is 55 gallons and sits on a stand that makes it pretty high up. Having a fishing line attached makes it easier to move them around the tank and pull them up for cleaning. Kenny and Big Red immediately came over to check out Diver Mickey.

Our fish love the underwater decorations. They bring the aquariums to life and create a great place for the shy fish to hide out or swim around. The next tank that needs a little Disney is my sons. Nemo has fun swimming around in his anemone but I think he'd enjoy one of the new Disney ornaments from PetSmart.
The ornaments would be fun outside a tank too. I love the Minnie Mermaid. She is sitting on my desk.
