One country that always stands out in my mind when sampling pastries in the World Showcase is France. Making pastries at home is a challenge for me but I've found a recipe that's easy and delicious from Disneyland's Club 33′s, the Pumpkin Beignets. The hardest part was waiting for them to cook. These tasty beignets filled with fall flavor are now my families favorite and will surely be yours too. We enjoyed them right after picking our homegrown pumpkins which you can almost see in the picture above. A taste of France and homegrown fun made for a perfect autumn weekend.
Here's what you'll need to get started. Chef Duffy is an optional ingredient. He's our Virtual Food & Wine Festival mascot. Chef Duffy has helped us create recipes from around Epcot's Word Showcase, Germany and Greece . But, don't go there now. On September 30th, all 10 of the most loved songs from the 2013 Oscar-winning film, Frozen, a vinyl edition and a Spanish language version Frozen Canciones de Una Aventura Congelada will be available for purchase.

What we thought:
We are huge Frozen fans as you may have guessed from our frequent Frozen related posts. When this CD arrived I popped it right in the car's player and we were immediately surrounded by the magic of the music that we have grown to love very much. Frozen: The Songs CD has all the most memorable songs from the movie and more. My favorite song is "Let It Go" and my sons is "Do You Want To Build a Snowman". We have pretty much all the words memorized but when we were stuck for a lyric my son was able to refer to the song sheet enclosed in the jewel case. We sang our hearts out and laughed all the way home. On the flip side of the song list is a great wall poster. Oh, and there is a fun sticker sheet as well.

One of my favorite TV indulgences is ABC's hit show "Nashville". It's just the right mix for me of drama, music and intrigue. Season 3 has just started and I can't wait to see what happens next.

Hidden Mickey - New Fantasyland
Our Hidden Mickey this week can be found in the stroller parking area just outside of the Be Our Guest Restaurant in Magic Kingdom, Walt Disney World.
Do you see him? I've outlined it for you. This is a tough one to spot and you may have parked your stroller in front of it or even sat on the wall without noticing it. I know I would have totally missed this one if the fabulous Cast Member, Alli hadn't pointed it out to me one bright sunny day. With a splash of water to add contrast the outline of the Hidden Mickey is revealed.
