If you are giving her as a gift for a young child, taking her out of the box should be done with a little help. There are small plastic ties that need to be broken (see picture) before freeing her from the box and putting a smile on any little girl’s face.  

What makes this Hello Kitty Doll so special?
I really like that Dance Hello Kitty is a dressable doll. Little Miss (4 years old) immediately gave her a hug, twirled her around for a dance and started undressing her. I could see she had no problem taking the cute little outfit off but needed a little help popping the shoes back for the first time. Once that skill was mastered Hello Kitty kicked off her shoes all day. The fashionable outfit includes a slip-on knit hat with bow, a sweater dress with velcro fastener, leg warmers, socks and slip-on shoes. The design of the clothes and attention to details is perfect for girls age 4- 6 years old.

The 13.5" Hello Kitty was created with all new proportions making her the first fully articulated poseable Hello Kitty doll. Made of a sturdy but soft to the touch plastic material helps little girls go from cuddling to dancing easily. Hello Kitty can sit, stand, turn her head for fun posing in dance moves. Hello Kitty will give her friends endless creative play. There are no batteries to power this doll. Whatever a little girl can imagine, her doll can do.
