The Weekly Roundup | Focused on the Magic : The Weekly Roundup

The Weekly Roundup

It was a hectic fun flower filled Mother’s Day weekend here with not much time to post a weekly roundup. We picked up our flowering plants, herbs and vegetable plants on Saturday, I celebrated a magical

Mother's Day with family on Sunday morning then we all hit the garden (hard) for planting and clean up in the afternoon. Not everything is cleaned up or planted but we all had fun as a family anyway.

I hope all of  you moms enjoyed your Mother's Day!

On Magical Memories Monday  I shared my Mother’s Day Gift trip to Disney World.  I am so blessed to have 2 dear sons (DSs) and a dear husband (DH) to share my life with.

Tuesday’s Tip was from Kohls, a 15% shopping pass for my friends and family to print out. I hope you were able to use it or pass it on. I'll continue to post them whenever they become available. Also mentioned was free dining with your Disney Visa Rewards card

Wordlless Wednesday brought us  A Grand View in honor of our Grand Old Flag.
Thursday was The Disneyland blog hop and the topic was food one of my favorite topics. The Disney fan favorite Dole Whip was my choice to discuss.

New this week is Foto Flashback Friday. I have quite a few pics that need to be either scanned, organized or archived and while I’m doing I’ll be posting a few each Friday. This week I posted pics of 20,000 Leagues Under The Sea a ride that’s a happy memory now.  If you’d like to join in just go to the post and leave a link in the comments to your favorite pre 2009 pics. It’ll be fun sharing our old favorites.
Saturday Shorts enjoyed it’s second week with a rare find from DS. Alice In Wonderland original footage of the talented voice actors Ed Wynn (Mad Hatter), Kathryn Beaumont (Alice) and Jerry Colonna (March Hare) actually recording their parts from The Unbirthday Party. Also the full segment of The Unbirthday Party to see the final product.
For Silent Sunday I shared a pic called Winners Circle from Saratoga Springs Spa and Resort. The Kentucky Derby was my inspiration and a local girl named “Rosie” and of course the winner Animal Kingdom !

Well, that's the weekly roundup. Just got a call. I'm leaving now to pick up DS at school with chest pains. I'm pretty sure it's not too serious but I'll have it checked out to be sure.

Hope you all have a magical ºoº week! Thanks for stopping by and I promise next week's roundup will be on time and Focused on the Magic!
